GIBAS II Flight Path

The Gibas II was launched from Radar Hill in Athens, Ohio on Saturday, April 9, at 12:47 pm. Communications were lost over Luster Shrader Road in Marlinton, West virginia at 3:04 pm when the GPS was unable to detect a satellite signal. Without landing coordinates, the craft was found and recovered the following day along Frost Road in Marlinton.
